If a medical professional decides you don’t need antibiotics because it’s likely to be a virus there are lots of ways you can treat your symptoms at home.
For symptoms, treatment or advice you can use to find out more

First Contact Physio
Did you know you can now book an appointment with a first contact practitioner (FCP) via one of our Receptionists?
An FCP is an experienced physiotherapist who is able to assess you, diagnose you and recommend appropriate treatment for any new joint or muscle problems. An FCP may prescribe an exercise programme, refer you for further investigations, advise you on pain medication, or refer you onwards for further management.

Covid Vaccine status (/passport)

May be an image of text

Please help us to help you.
Your covid vaccine status (after 2 doses) will be automatically viewable on the NHS app from 17th May. Alternatively paper copies can be requested by calling 119. Please don't contact the surgery for this.
The NHS app has the option to request your full health record. You DO NOT need to request this to view your vaccination status. When you request access to your full record a GP then needs to read all your medical notes in detail to check for any third party data or sensitive information. It takes around 30 minutes to read an average patient's notes, those who have had a lot of medical care or complex issues will take much longer. If everyone requested full access it would take one GP over 4.5 years full time just reviewing all our patient notes!
Requesting full access will divert your GPs from providing care for you - when demand is the highest it has ever been.

The surgery sends out text reminders for your appointments:
