Insulin safety week 1st-7th July 2024.

Consett Medical Centre will be participating in insulin safety week 1st-7th July 2024.

The theme is safe use of diabetes technology.

The Diabetes Specialist team have organised a range of appropriate patient resources that will be displayed in the main waiting area and these will be free for diabetics to access throughout the week.

They include a wide range of patient information leaflets such as injection technique, identity cards for insulin users, samples of available diabetes technologies (libre and dexcom), hypo remedies and much more.
